ANTHONY HACKETT - OWNER
In March 2018 I became the proud new owner of Paws and People Too. I've been a certified professional Pet Groomer for 14 years (and counting!). I have worked at many pet oriented places, working with a range of animals from pocket pets on up. I am a proud Poodle Dad to an Apricot Miniature named Teddy who is with me every day. I'm living my best life, and I greet every day with a smile. I'm truly blessed. I've always dreamed of having my own salon, and now that I've made it, I have a new dream: to be owner of the best grooming salon!

Brittany Jane Atkinson
My name is Brittany Jane, I am a certified professional Pet Groomer graduate from Animal Behavior College. I'm married to a Vet Technician, so I'm surrounded by animals all day! We have three cats (Special Sauce, Argentum, and Germanium), a rabbit (Asiago), and a Standard Poodle (Ursa)! Soon Ursa will be travelling to the shop with me most days! You can follow my grooming adventure on my Instagram or Facebook page that I update frequently!
Hey everyone, I’m Billie! I am so excited to be
a part of the Paws and People Too family. My love for animals started at a very young age and ultimately lead me to becoming a groomer. I have been a certified professional dog groomer for 10+ years and absolutely love what I do! In South Carolina I owned my own grooming salon for 4.5 years but closed up shop to move up North. Now I’m working under Anthony Hackett....say whaaaaat??? I’m beyond honored for this new chapter in my life and professional career.
P.S. I can’t wait to meet all your fur babies.
My name is Kelsey and I'm new to the Paws and People Too family but I've worked under Anthony's leadership in the past. I have been in the pet industry for five years, and grooming full time for the last two years. I love grooming Westies, and any breed that requires a lot of hand scissoring. I'm really interested in creative grooming and hope to incorporate it in to our daily grooms some day! Finally I just want to say, I'm the mother of a very active and happy three year old, so I have a lot of practice in patience which helps me every day. Thanks for reading and I can't wait to meet everyone!
My name is John, and I have been a certified Professional groomer for six years specializing in Bichons. I've worked in the animal industry for over ten years doing various work with all sorts of animals. Anthony and I have worked together in the past, he actually formally trained me, and now I'm so happy he's brought me in to this new experience of cage free grooming! Check out my brand new Instagram page dedicated to Paws and People Too!
Hey there, my name is Debbie. I recently moved to Delaware from New York, where my grooming career started 24 years ago. I am not only still grooming, but I am a certified dog trainer, CPR certified, and certified in animal nutrition. Animals have always been a major part of my life. I love all animals big and small, scaly and furry. My personal zoo consists of one adorable boxer named Cooper, two ferrets, and 20 (or more, don't tell my husband!) reptiles. I'm excited to bring my big city energy to the salon and can't wait to meet you and your furbabies!
My name is Quincy, I'm Anthony's uncle, and a senior groomer. I've been working with hair my whole life, coming from a family of barbers. When I was a young man, I started honing my craft. I've worked in many barber shops, until one day I decided to work part time as a dog bather, because I love dogs. Soon after starting, I was taught how to groom. Since I was already proficient with the tools of the trade, it didn't take long to rise up the ranks. I've been a professional Pet Groomer for 7 years.
My name is Amanda, and I'm currently lead Bather, but soon to be a groomer in training. I grew up on a horse and cattle farm, where we worked hand-in-paw with our dogs to move cattle on a daily basis. I've never known a time without animals! I have worked at many pet oriented places, including my family's grooming salon in Arizona. I live with my fiancé, and our two pups, Torbjörn and Bean the chocolate Miniature Schnauzers.
Hey guys, I’m Zach, or as they call me around the salon, “the crocodile hunter”. I’m a part time bather here at Paws and People Too. I am currently a junior at St. George’s Tech and plan to get into the sports medicine field when I’m older. Although pet care and sports medicine are two totally different fields, they both require the same amount of hard work and dedication. I have two dogs at home, a smooth coat border collie and a senior shin-tuz. And I look forward to Splish splashing in the tub with your pups.
I'm Ciarra, the newest bather to be added to the Paws and People Too family. This is my first job working with animals, but I have two Boston Terriers at home and I love dogs. I love meeting all the doggos and getting to know their personalities. I love doing Shedless packages, especially on Huskys! I'm so excited to learn new things and for this opportunity!
